The Dellinger Dash 3K and "Lake Lap" for Kids, organized by Wire2Wire Running together with the Cartersville Parks and Recreation Department, is an annual race held at Dellinger Park in Cartersville on August 5, 2027. The Dellinger Dash 3K (about 1.9 miles) starts at 7 p.m. and challenges runners to complete a loop around the park.

At 7:45 p.m., younger runners can take part in the Lake Lap for Kids, a fun run around the park's duck pond. Proceeds support local school running programs through the Shoes4Kids initiative. Age-group awards are presented, and every participant receives a commemorative T-shirt.
