Day of the Dead Half Marathon Fort Worth

The Day of the Dead Half Marathon Fort Worth, a Texas Parks edition, is an endurance event in Fort Worth, Texas, celebrating life and tradition through some of the most scenic parks in Texas. On October 18, 2026, runners can choose a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km), a quarter marathon (6.55 miles / 10.5 km), a 5K or a 1-mile run, all starting at 8:00 a.m., while the Kids Dash goes off at 7:55 a.m.

Runners make their way through lush natural scenery, supported by aid stations. One of the highlights is the costume contest, where participants show off creative outfits inspired by Día de los Muertos. Awards go to the top finishers. After the race, runners enjoy refreshments, live music and a festive atmosphere, in an event focused on a fun, safe and engaging experience for everyone.
