The Dark Horse Trail Series (26.2 - 13.1 - 10k) takes place at the Tryon International Equestrian Center in Mill Spring, in the Blue Ridge Mountains, on August 21, 2027. The marathon (26.2 miles), half marathon (13.1 miles) and 10K (6.2 miles) all start at 8 a.m. and run on wide dirt roads, singletrack and meadows.

A post-race party with food, drinks and live music brings runners together in a community atmosphere.
