Dark Dart Dash

The Dark Dart Dash is an illuminated night-time trail race in South Hams on 21 November 2026, designed for participants of all ages and abilities. The 10K starts at 18:30, the canicross 10K at 18:35, and a 1K race sets off earlier at 17:30.

Runners test their speed and agility on varied terrain, including grass, gravel, tarmac and often muddy woodland trails alongside the river, ideal for those looking for variety and technical sections. The event offers individual and canicross races, as well as age-group races for young athletes; children aged 8 and over can take on longer distances with an accompanying adult. Entry includes race timing, medals, goodies and access to all event facilities, and participation helps raise funds for a new playground at Dartington Hall.
