About

The Crane Race, held on 30 October 2026 beside the beautiful Hula Lake in Israel, is a one-of-a-kind event combining sporting performance with environmental conservation, with a half marathon (21.1 km) starting at 6:30am and a 10K at 7:25am among its options.

Offering five inclusive formats (half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, a family run and a route for people with special needs), the race welcomes runners of all levels on flat, fast trails surrounded by thousands of migrating cranes. More than just a race, it is a force for good: proceeds directly support the lake's pioneering crane conservation project, protecting these majestic birds while also safeguarding local farms. With sponsors such as EY covering the organisation costs, 100% of surplus funds go to this ecological success story.
