The Chicopee Woods WildRUN in Gainesville, run in partnership with the Elachee Nature Science Center, offers a 7-mile (11.3 km) trail race at 8 a.m., a 3-mile (4.8 km) trail race at 8:10 a.m. and a half-mile (0.8 km) Kids Trail Fun Run at 8:15 a.m. on June 26, 2027.

The course winds through the Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve on scenic trails lined with rhododendron thickets, with creek crossings and a suspension bridge. The kids' race aims to foster a love of nature. While the event welcomes both seasoned athletes and beginners, note that there is a 3-hour time limit. Families are invited to join in the festivities.
