About

The CERC Prediction Run is a free 3-mile (4.8 km) race hosted by the Columbus Eastside Running Club at Nocterra Brewing Co. in Columbus, Ohio, on June 5, 2027, at 9:00 a.m. It puts a unique twist on traditional racing: runners predict their finish time and try to cover the course as close to it as possible, without watches or timing devices.

The event is open to 200 participants and offers awards for the winners, door prizes and a friendly atmosphere. Ties are settled by a game of rock-paper-scissors. Fun takes priority over competition, and refreshments are available after the race. Parking is available outside Nocterra Brewing, and participants are asked not to park in the Scioto Audubon Metro Park lots.
