About

The BSI Lake Balaton Supermarathon is a four-day ultra-distance race starting in Siófok, Hungary, covering a total of 196.45 km around picturesque Lake Balaton from 25 to 28 February 2027. Organised by Budapest Marathon Organisation, it is an ultimate endurance challenge open to runners from all over the world.

Runners can take part individually or as a relay team and set their own daily distances, making it a truly flexible event. The four stages are:

  • 25 February: Siófok – Fonyód, 48.45 km
  • 26 February: Fonyód – Szigliget, 53.2 km
  • 27 February: Badacsony – Balatonfüred, 43.6 km
  • 28 February: Balatonfüred – Siófok, 51.2 km

A Half Lake Balaton Supermarathon (95 km) is also offered, solo or as a relay.
