Bohemian Alps Endurance Run

Bohemian Alps Endurance Run is held in Brainard, Nebraska, on October 24, 2026. Two trail formats are offered: a half marathon (13.1 miles) starting at 7:30 AM and a 4-mile run (6.4 km) starting at 7:40 AM. The event runs on the same day as the Bohemian Alps 50 Kilometer Ultramarathon, so the shorter distances give friends and family a way to take part alongside the ultra runners.

A half marathon on rolling hills makes a good fall target after a summer of steady miles. Twelve weeks is enough for most runners: build the long run to 12 or 13 miles and add one hilly workout a week to prepare for the terrain. The 4-mile run is short enough for beginners and for kids who run regularly, and it can double as a hard tempo effort for faster runners.
