About

The Bellwood Daze River Run is held every year in Bellwood, Nebraska, as part of the Bellwood Daze celebration, with a 6-mile run (9.7 km), a 2-mile run (3.2 km) and a half-mile kids run (0.8 km). The 2027 edition is on August 7: the kids run starts at 8 a.m. and the 6-mile and 2-mile runs at 8:15 a.m.

The races follow a mostly flat out-and-back course mixing pavement and gravel roads, heading north of town toward the Platte River. The kids run is held entirely on paved town streets.
