About

The Boconnoc 5 Mile is an evening trail race of 5 miles (8 km) through the historic Boconnoc estate near Lostwithiel, held on 5 May 2027 and organised by East Cornwall Harriers.

Starting from the courtyard, the course winds along unsurfaced tracks, shaded woodland paths and quiet lanes, giving runners a varied and scenic challenge. With an evening start, athletes can look forward to running as the light softens over the estate’s rolling parkland. The atmosphere is welcoming yet competitive, drawing local club runners as well as those keen to test themselves midweek. Prize-giving and results follow shortly after the finish, rounding off a community event in a unique Cornish setting.
