The Bloomingdale Trail 5K is a family-friendly event in Chicago on September 25, 2027, featuring a timed 5K along with shorter dashes for young runners, the 1/2 Mile Dash and the 1/4 Mile Dash, all starting at 9:00 a.m.

Participants enjoy sweeping views along the elevated trail through the city's Northwest Side neighborhoods. The event supports the outreach programs of Friends of the Bloomingdale Trail and is organized in partnership with local community groups.
