Sunrise Marathon 5K/10K/13.1 CHICAGO/EVANSTON brings the series to Chicago, Illinois, on December 12, 2026. The half marathon (13.1 miles), the 10K, the 5K and a one-mile family fun run share a 7:30 a.m. start, timed at sunrise on a scenic course. Timing is optional, and every athlete receives a performance race shirt, a finisher medal and a digital training pack.

A December road race in the Midwest is usually a season closer rather than a peak, and it pays to run it that way.
