Bizz Johnson's Southside Scramble is a trail race near Susanville, in the Susan River Canyon on the Bizz Johnson and Southside trails, on June 19, 2027. Runners choose from three events, all starting and finishing at the Hobo Camp Day Use Area: the Dirty Devil's 22K (13.7 miles) at 7:30 a.m., the Tunnel's Blast 14K (8.7 miles) at 7:45 a.m. and the Hobo Special 7K (4.3 miles) at 8 a.m.
Aid stations offer snacks and drinks, but runners must carry their own hydration system. Finishers receive a medal and a towel, along with post-race refreshments. Parking is limited, so carpooling is encouraged. The event supports equality and inclusion and is endorsed by Trail Sisters.
