About

The Big Horse 5K is a competitive 5K trail and mud run organized by Gut Check Fitness at Big Horse Vineyards in Lewistown, Illinois, on August 29, 2027. The 5K competitive heats, for individuals and teams, start at 9:00 a.m.

Participants tackle natural obstacles including hills, creeks and ponds. Every registration includes a finisher's medal, parking and a wine tasting. There are options for both competitive and fun runners, and the post-race entertainment includes music and beer mile events, individual and team relay, at 10:30 a.m.
