About

The Big Brothers Big Sisters Miles for Mentorship is an annual 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk in Lansing, starting at 10:00 a.m. on October 3, 2027. It supports the mission of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Michigan Capital Region to unlock young people's potential through mentoring, and the outdoor course starts and finishes at Hawk Island.

Proceeds help create effective one-on-one mentoring relationships. Children 12 and under can also take part in the Spooky Sprint Kids Run, where Halloween costumes and treat bags are part of the fun.
