About

Beats for a Cure is a 5K (3.1 miles) and 1-mile walk in Cleveland on August 28, 2027, both starting at 8:30 a.m. Organized by the nonprofit Beats for a Cure, the event supports care for children with cancer at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital, combining music and endurance sports to raise funds for cancer research and support.

Participants can fundraise individually or as a team, with prizes for the top fundraisers. The run/walk can be done in person or virtually. Registration includes a T-shirt, a finisher medal, a snack and zoo admission. Several race divisions are offered, with awards for the top finishers.
