About

The Battle Run Benefiting A Soldier's Child Foundation takes place at Henry Horton State Park near Lewisburg, Tennessee, in early May, and all proceeds go to the A Soldier's Child Foundation. Participants can tackle several challenges: the Crucible, a marathon distance (26.2 miles) at 7:00 AM; the Battle Axe half marathon trail run (13.1 miles) at 7:30 AM; the Anvil 5K trail run (3.1 miles) at 7:45 AM; and the Gauntlet obstacle course of about 4 miles at 8:00 AM. Children can join Dax's Kids Gauntlet at regular intervals. Participants receive a T-shirt, a dog tag and a meal basket, and a festival area offers games and food.
