About

The Barrel to Keg Relay is a 69-mile (111 km) team running relay, with a 35-mile (56 km) walking option, across Oregon's Coast Range foothills, from Harris Bridge Vineyard in Philomath to the finish at Rogue Brewery in Newport. It takes place on July 10, 2027.

For its 11th edition, this point-to-point relay challenged teams of 7 runners or 4 walkers to tackle varied terrain, including rolling farmland, forest roads and riverbanks along the Yaquina River. Expect a festive atmosphere: costumes, creative team names and pre-race camping at the vineyard add to the fun. With around a hundred teams, volunteers and plenty of community spirit, the event is as much a celebration of teamwork as it is about the miles.

All profits go to the Community Services Consortium, which supports local anti-poverty efforts in the region.
