The Banana Belt MTB Race takes riders through 35 miles of singletrack in and around the scenic mountain town of Salida, in Colorado's Chaffee County. The course is built to challenge cyclists of every level, from newcomers to seasoned racers, over demanding backcountry trail. Set against the backdrop of Colorado's high country, with its dramatic peaks and canyon terrain, the race is designed to be a memorable day on the bike no matter your experience level, combining a serious physical test with some of the state's best mountain scenery.
