About

The Awesum Possum Lake Trail Adventure in Memory of Steve Fealtman takes place around Opossum Lake in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, on June 5, 2027, with a 6-mile (9.7 km) obstacle course at 8 a.m., and a 4-mile (6.4 km) trail run and 4-mile walk at 8:30 a.m. It is organized by the Friends of Opossum Lake Conservancy in honor of Steve Fealtman, a dedicated U.S. Marine and community servant.

Celebrating his love of the outdoors, participants choose from several challenging courses over natural terrain, with awards for the top finishers in each age group. Participants should be ready for varied terrain, bring what they need and enjoy the community spirit honoring Steve's legacy. All funds raised go toward conservation of the lake's ecosystem.
