ATW St Albans New Years Eve 10K

The ATW St Albans New Years Eve 10K rounds off the year on 31 December 2026 in St Albans, England. A single race is on the programme: a 10K road race starting at 9:30am. No elevation figures have been published, and no other distance is offered.

The 10K remains the best place to learn pacing: short enough to run at a strong effort, long enough to punish a start that is too quick. Runners new to the distance can aim for an even pace and simply pick it up over the last two kilometres; regulars will find it a good chance to gauge their fitness before spring training blocks begin. Being on 31 December, it pays not to overload the preceding days: an easier week with a short race-pace session midweek is enough to arrive fresh on the start line.
