The ASL-for-All 5K (Walk, Run & Roll) takes place in Olathe on September 25, 2027. The 5K (3.1 miles), open to walkers, runners and wheelchair users, starts at 6:30 a.m. Two fun runs accompany the main event, one for children 6 and under and the other for ages 7 to 10, followed by an ASL festival with community booths and performances.

The event is a fundraiser for the Kansas School for the Deaf Endowment Association and the Museum of Deaf History, Arts & Culture, and aims to bring deaf and hearing people together through sign language. On the running side, the 5K suits every pace and works well for families: the clock takes a back seat to the community spirit of the morning.
