Ahlyza's Fight 5K

Ahlyza's Fight 5K is held in Franklin Township, New Jersey, on October 24, 2026, with a single 5K over 3.1 miles starting at 10:00 a.m. The event raises awareness for women living with metastatic breast cancer and welcomes all ages and fitness levels, whether you run, jog or walk it. A post-race party follows with live music and food trucks, and awards go to the leading runners.

An event built to include walkers is a good place to try your first 5K, since nobody is left alone at the back and the finish line stays open. Six weeks of walking or easy jogging three times a week will get you comfortably to the distance. All net proceeds go to a charity chosen by Ahlyza and to families affected by breast cancer, which makes the entry fee do something beyond your own morning.
