Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ Loopet Loppet - Minneapolis, MN

The Ȟaȟá Wakpádaŋ Loopet Loppet is an endurance event honoring Dakota culture through 6-hour and 12-hour running or walking challenges along Bassett Creek. Participants can register solo or as a team to complete multiple loops. The event also includes a fun one-loop run/walk and a shorter loop just for kids. All activities start and finish at the trailhead in Golden Valley, Minnesota, alongside an Indigenous peoples' festival featuring native vendors, chefs, artists, and storytellers, plus educational activities exploring Dakota traditions through crafts and games.
