About

Lookin For A Cure Minneapolis is a 5K (3.1 miles) charity walk/run hosted by A Cure in Sight at Lake Normandale, raising money for ocular melanoma research. It starts at 8:00 a.m. on June 12, 2027.

Participants of all ages are welcome and receive perks such as a T-shirt (with early registration), a finisher's medal, food and drinks, access to a first-aid station and a commemorative bib. Official finish times with age-group results and downloadable photos are also provided. Free parking is available near the start line. The event raises awareness and funds for a rare eye cancer that affects about 3,000 new people each year in the United States.
