About

5K For Coppell Special Olympics is held at Andy Brown East Park in Coppell, Texas, in the Dallas area, on October 31, 2026. The Timed 5K starts at 8 a.m. and a roughly one-mile Fun Run follows at 8:10 a.m., with both suited to all ages and abilities. Proceeds go to Coppell Special Olympics teams to cover essentials such as uniforms, equipment and competition entry fees.

Having a timed 5K and a short fun run ten minutes apart makes this easy to enter as a household with different fitness levels. If you want a result from the 5K, the morning start and the flat park setting are both in your favor, so warm up and commit to an even effort. If you are there to walk or to cheer, the mile keeps everyone involved.
