How to get the most out of your checklist

1

Prepare your bag the night before

Do a "flat lay": lay out the full kit on a chair, gather nutrition and documents in a pouch. On race morning, you only have to put it on.

2

Adapt your checklist to the weather

Check the forecast 48h before. Rain expected? Tick the rain jacket and cap. Heatwave? Think salt caps and extra flasks.

3

Note exact quantities (Premium)

For a marathon: 6 SiS gels lemon + caffeine, 2 salt caps, 1 × 500 ml electrolyte flask. Precise details avoid last-minute improvisation.

4

Add your own items

Everyone has small rituals: sunscreen, lucky bracelet, special socks… Add your custom items once signed in and find them at every race.

5

Print or use on mobile

The checklist looks great on all screens and stays usable offline (your checks are in local storage). Print it if you prefer paper, that works too.

Is the checklist really free?
Yes, the 4 templates (10K, half, marathon, ultra) are fully free, no sign-up. You can check, add your items and find them again on your next visit thanks to local browser storage.
What's the difference between free and Premium?
The free version gives access to the 4 complete checklists with customization. Premium adds two things: 1) community suggestions (items added by other runners on the same distance) and 2) a free "details" field per item to note quantity, brand or flavor.
Is my data saved?
In anonymous mode, your checks are kept in your browser (localStorage). Once signed in, everything is synced to MongoDB and available on every device — phone, tablet, computer.
Can I have multiple checklists per distance?
For now, one checklist per distance and per user. If you run several marathons in a year, you adapt the same list each time (custom items stay, you just adjust the checks).
How do community suggestions work?
When at least 3 other runners add the same custom item on a given distance, it appears in your Premium suggestions. You can add it to your list in one click. The list refreshes automatically.
Can the checklist be printed?
Yes, just use your browser's "Print" function (Ctrl/Cmd + P). The page is optimized for clean printing, without the navigation.
