Mighty Gobbler

Mighty Gobbler is a Thanksgiving Day race in Troy, Michigan, on November 26, 2026. The morning opens with a 1-mile run/walk at 8:30 a.m., followed by the 5K run/walk (3.1 miles) at 9:00 a.m. Both events welcome runners and walkers, so families can split up by distance and still share the same start area.

If the 5K is your goal, six weeks of three short runs a week is enough to arrive comfortable, and adding one session with a few minutes at a brisk pace will help if you want a quick time.
