About

The Zimmerman Wild West 5K is organized by the Zimmerman Thunder track and field and cross-country teams at Grams Regional Park over Memorial Day weekend. On May 22, 2027, the 5K (3.1 miles) starts at 9:00 a.m., followed by a half-mile race (0.8 km) at 10:00 a.m.

The scenic course mixes paved and unpaved trails near Lake Fremont, with water stops along the way, and runners and walkers of all levels are encouraged to join. After the race, participants can enter a prize drawing and enjoy the Zimmerman’s Wild West Days festivities. A T-shirt is optional with registration, and awards go to the top runners.
