The Woodbury Lakes Half Marathon takes place in Woodbury, Minnesota, in early May, starting at Colby Lake Park. The half marathon (13.1 miles) begins at 8:00 a.m., the 10K at 8:30 and the 5K at 9:00, and each route is designed to show off the area's lakes and natural beauty.

The course is not certified, and runners should be aware of the many turns and unmarshaled road crossings. Wooden medals are given to participants. Support on the course is limited to water stops, so bring your own fuel for the longer distances. Knowing the route in advance, from the posted map, will help you keep your focus on the pace and the lakes.
