The Wild Rose Half Marathon & 5K takes place in Roseville, California, in mid-May, on the Pleasant Grove bike path, with the start and finish at the Moksa Barrel House. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 8:30 a.m. over a mostly flat course, and the 5K run and walk begin at 8:45 on a loop through William Hughes Park that suits all levels.

Participants choose between a technical shirt and a running cap, and also receive a finisher medal and a drink ticket from Moksa Brewing Co. for those 21 and older. The event includes a post-race celebration with raffle prizes and is presented by the Bad Luck Run Club. Mid-May in the Sacramento area can be warm, so a flat course still calls for hydration.
