About

The WaunaFest Run in Waunakee offers a 10-mile run (16.1 km), a 5K and a 2-mile walk (3.2 km), plus a kids' run for the youngest participants. It is organized by the Waunakee Area Chamber of Commerce.

Runners can choose the challenging Ted Tweed 10-mile course, a fast 5K or the walk. The 10-mile and 5K races are professionally timed, so runners can test their fitness and measure themselves against the field, and water stops are set up along every course. On July 24, 2027, the 10-mile starts at 7:30 a.m., the 5K at 7:35 a.m., the walk at 7:40 a.m. and the Kiddie Run at 9:30 a.m. Taking part helps support local events and community resources.
