The Water For People Charlotte 5K takes place at McAlpine Creek Park in Charlotte, North Carolina. Organized by NC One Water, the 5K (3.1 miles) offers timed and untimed options, with a 9:00 a.m. start. A virtual 5K lets you take part from anywhere.

The packed-gravel course is mostly flat and partially shaded, and runners, walkers, strollers and leashed pets are all welcome. Proceeds benefit Water For People, a nonprofit bringing reliable, safe water and sanitation to communities in Latin America, East Africa and India.
