About

The Wasatch Peaks Foundation Halloween 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk in Plain City features a timed 5K (3.1 miles) race at 4:00 p.m. and a non-competitive 1-mile (1.6 km) fun run/walk at 4:10 p.m. on October 2, 2027. Also billed as the Halloween Food Truck Fun Run/Walk, it encourages participants to wear Halloween costumes.

Every participant receives a long-sleeve T-shirt, a race bib, timing and a goody bag. Awards go to the top runners and best costumes in various age groups. Trick-or-treat stations are set up for kids, and food trucks at the finish offer food for purchase. Proceeds benefit educational initiatives for children and youth in the community.
