The Walking in Love 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run takes place in Athens, McMinn County, Tennessee, on June 12, 2027, with the 5K and the 1-mile fun run both starting at 8:30 a.m. Both are suited to all ages and fitness levels.

Held along the historic Eureka Trail, the event promotes community spirit and supports Kairos Outside of East Tennessee, which helps women affected by incarceration. Awards go to the top three men and top three women to cross the finish line.
