The Waldenwoods Turkey Trot is a trail run of about 3.2 miles looping around Lake Walden, starting and finishing at the Waldenwoods Resort & Conference Center in Howell, Michigan. It's organized by Waldenwoods with support from Running Lab of Brighton, and benefits the Hartland Area Project, which supports local health, wellness, education, culture, and economic development.

The race keeps things old-school with hand-timed results, post-race snacks, race shirts, and raffle prizes, including a chance to win a day membership to Waldenwoods. Race-day registration is available, but signing up early is recommended to guarantee event merchandise.
