About

Wabash Run the River takes place in Wabash, Indiana, in early June, along the scenic Wabash River trail, and suits both competitive runners and casual participants. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 8:30 a.m., and the 10K and 5K at 9:00 a.m. Chip timing is provided.

Registered participants of any age can enjoy crossing the finish line, and the top men and women earn cash prizes. Water stops and a marked course keep the day running smoothly, and participants can get exclusive event gear and join in local festivities, which makes it more than just a race. River paths are often flat and shaded in parts, but early June in Indiana can be humid.
