Victory Over Violence Walk/Run

Victory Over Violence Walk/Run takes place on April 10, 2027 at the Trinity Park Duck Pond in Fort Worth, Texas. The USATF-certified 5K fun run and walk (3.1 miles) starts at 8:30 a.m., preceded by a 1K fun run at 8:00 a.m. T-shirts, food, drinks and a dedicated kids area are part of the event, and proceeds go to the anti-violence programs of the Women's Center of Tarrant County.

The walk/run framing tells you what to expect: a participatory morning rather than a hard-edged competition, with a course open to walkers and a short kids race that lets families take part together. If you do want to race it, a certified 5K course still gives you a time worth keeping. And if you are walking, the distance is comfortably within reach on a few weeks of regular walking, with the 1K available for younger legs.
