Veterans Haven 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk

Veterans Haven 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk takes place in Haddonfield, New Jersey, on November 7, 2026. Both the 5K run and the one-mile walk start at 9:00 a.m. from Christ the King Church, and the run is chip-timed. American Legion Post 38 organizes it, and proceeds go to Veterans Haven South, a transitional home for homeless and unemployed veterans. Medals go to the top male and female runners, with further awards for the first three in each age group, and every participant gets a short-sleeve shirt.

Two formats on the same clock make this an easy event to share: one person can race the 5K while another walks the mile. Chip timing means the 3.1 miles are worth pacing properly, so hold back through the first mile and press over the last one.
