The Vermont PANDAS & PANS Awareness 5K Run/Walk is a family-friendly 5K run/walk in Burlington on October 9, 2027, starting at 10:00 a.m. It raises awareness of PANS and PANDAS, autoimmune disorders that affect children and young adults.

Participants can expect a community atmosphere with music, snacks and educational resources on PANS and PANDAS. The event is held in partnership with the Alex Manfull Fund, which supports research into and treatment of neuroimmune disorders, and proceeds go to the neuroimmune psychiatric disorders clinic at Dartmouth's hospital. The goal is to shed light on these often-overlooked conditions and to build understanding and support within the community.
