Valentine's Day Run 5K/10K/13.1 PHOENIX is held in Phoenix, Arizona, on February 13, 2027, and starts earlier than the rest of the series: the half marathon (13.1 miles), the 10K, the 5K and the one-mile family fun run all go at 7 a.m. Chocolate stations, volunteers and photo stops line the course, and everyone who finishes in person receives a race shirt, a participant kit and a finisher medal, with treats afterwards. A virtual entry is also available.

A 7 a.m. gun means breakfast around 4:30 or 5 a.m. if you want it digested, and that timing is worth rehearsing on a long run beforehand. Otherwise the day is as demanding as you make it: the distances are open to all levels, so the half can be a goal race, a workout inside a marathon build, or simply a long morning with chocolate stations in it.
