Valentine's Day Run 5K/10K/13.1 DENVER/AURORA takes place in Centennial, Colorado, in the Denver area, on February 13, 2027. The half marathon (13.1 miles), the 10K, the 5K and a one-mile family fun run all start at 7:30 a.m., and the course features chocolate stations, enthusiastic volunteers and photo opportunities. In-person finishers receive a race shirt, a participant kit and a finisher medal, with treats afterwards, and virtual entry is also possible.

Racing at Denver-area altitude changes the maths of pacing, especially if you are flying in: start slower than your sea-level pace and let the second half decide the day. The three timed distances suit every level, so there is no shame in entering the 5K to see how the altitude feels first. For the half, twelve to sixteen weeks of steady mileage with one weekly long run is the standard build.
