Ukrop’s Monument Avenue 10K

Ukrop's Monument Avenue 10K is run in Richmond, Virginia, on April 17, 2027, over a 10K (6.2 miles) known for its fast, rolling profile, with only about 85 feet of climbing. The route heads up Broad Street before joining Monument Avenue, an avenue lined with century-old trees and historic homes, where runners pass the statue of tennis player Arthur Ashe. The finish is at Monroe Park, in the heart of the city.

With that little elevation, this is a course built for a personal best: hold back for the first mile, then settle onto a pace you can repeat and let the closing stretch take care of itself.
