About
Town of Greece Trick-or-Trot is held in Greece, New York, on October 31, 2026. There is one format, a 5K over 3.1 miles, starting at 8:00 a.m.
An 8 a.m. Halloween 5K is short enough to leave the rest of the day intact, which is part of why the distance suits families and first-timers. Building for it takes about a month: three or four runs a week, one slightly longer than the others, and one broken into faster repeats with jogged recoveries. Warm up properly whatever your goal, because the first half mile of a 5K is quick and legs that started cold spend the whole race catching up. Costumes fit the name, but test yours on a run first.
