About

The Toledo Mini Marathon takes place in Toledo, Ohio, in the second half of March, with the mini half marathon (13.1 miles) and the Glass City 10K (6.2 miles) both starting at 8:00 a.m. The route passes through historic neighborhoods, including Sidecut Metropark and downtown Toledo.

Runners pass landmarks such as the Toledo Country Club and the zoo, and finish near the Toledo Mud Hens ballpark. A 5K and activities such as a party at 5/3 Field are also part of the weekend. The event is sponsored by Mercy Health, which uses it to engage with the community on local needs. March in northwest Ohio can be cold and windy, so a throwaway layer for the start is a good idea.
