About

Tiffany Parker Porter 5K Run/Walk is held in Lawrenceville, Georgia, on October 31, 2026. The morning opens at 8:00 a.m. with the Celia Toles Kid's Fun Run, a 50-meter dash for ages 12 and under, and the 5K run and walk, 3.1 miles, follows at 8:30 a.m.

A short dash for the children and a 5K for the adults makes this an easy race to bring a family to; the kids are finished long before the main start, so nobody spends the morning waiting around. For the 5K itself, the walk option means there is no minimum fitness required, though runners chasing a time should still line up near the front and warm up first. A month of consistent running, with one weekly session quicker than race pace, is the standard build.
