About

The Thunderbolt 5k and 1Mile Walk takes place in Millville, New Jersey, on June 13, 2027, with a 5K (3.1 miles) and a 1-mile walk/fun run, both starting at 10:00 a.m. The event benefits the Millville Army Airfield Museum, which preserves the history of America's first defense airport.

Both options are suitable for all ages and abilities, and participants are encouraged to wear patriotic outfits or military uniforms. The post-race reception features live music, food trucks and free drinks for eligible runners. Awards go to the top finishers, and proceeds support the museum.
