Thumb Coast Ultra & Relay - MI

Thumb Coast Ultra & Relay - MI is an ultramarathon weekend in Caseville, Michigan, on April 24, 2027, organized by Trivium Racing. Five divisions share the day: the 50 Mile Ruck, carried out with a pack, sets off first at 5:00 AM, the 50 Mile and the 50 Mile Relay follow at 6:27 AM, the 50K Ruck starts at 7:30 AM and the 50K at 8:30 AM. All cover either 80.5 km or 50 km.

Fifty miles is a long day whichever way you approach it, and the staggered start times give the slower divisions the daylight they need. The relay is the friendliest way in, splitting the distance across a team so nobody has to be ready for the whole thing. For the solo distances, plan on months rather than weeks: back-to-back long runs on weekends, a fueling plan you have tested, and shoes and socks you already trust over many hours.
