The Valley Race (5K, 10K and half marathon) takes place in Los Angeles, California, at Woodley Park in Encino, in late May. The half marathon (13.1 miles) and 10K start at 7:00 a.m., with the 5K following at 7:30 a.m. The course crosses varied terrain, including grass, tunnels and park paths, so it asks for focus and adaptability rather than a flat road pace.

Runners are supported by water stations, electrolytes and first aid. Wear your bib visibly, and use the secure bag check offered at registration.
